You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them.

2 Timothy 3:10‭-‬11 NIV

OBSERVATION

Paul was mentoring Timothy. He drew from all possible resources in order to help the young, promising up coming minister of the Gospel.

Timothy was instructional taught by Paul and also received practical lessons while he observed Paul's way of life and that of doing things. By this he was expected to emulate the example of Paul by life, service, ministry and deed. 

Paul is not painting a rosey picture of ministry to Timothy. but he gives him a graphic picture of what ministry entails. He does not hide the aspect of suffering in the ministry a thing that does not exist in modern ministry.

Here is the message:

a. Timothy you KNOW about my TEACHING/Doctrine - Very important

b. You KNOW  all about my WAY OF LIFE - Conduct

c. You KNOW my PURPOSE - aim, focus, motive and direction, 

d. You KNOW my FAITH - he exercised faith in public

e. You KNOW my  PATIENCE - he was persistent in  suffering

f. You KNOW my LOVE - He displayed his first love in serving

g. You KNOW my ENDURANCE - continuance despite hardship

h. You KNOW  my PERSECUTIONS - - his suffering for the Gospel was very obvious  to all

I. You KNOW my SUFFERINGS - Paul did not hide his sufferings from Timothy though Timothy was young

YET THE LORD RESCUED ME FROM ALL OF THEM

The God we trust in and serve will RESCUE US from  the different sufferings, pain, sicknesses, covid, flue, BP, Diabetes, chronic diseases, enemies, evil agents, forces of darkness. And many more known and unknown.

Lets serve him and He will deliver us from All of Them..!!!
